By using the Lexi Play application ("App"), you accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

The App is an educational language learning game designed for children aged 3 and above. It includes:

Letter recognition and placement exercises
Spelling and pronunciation in the Greek language
1,000+ words across 22 thematic categories
Voice recognition and text-to-speech (TTS) capabilities

3 Children's protection

The safety of children is our top priority.

The App fully complies with:
The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union
The Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) of the United States
The UK Age Appropriate Design Code (Children's Code)

PEGI age classification regulations

Safety guarantees:
We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal data from children
The app contains no advertisements or in-app purchases
No external links or social media connections
No internet connection required for core functionality
No inappropriate content, violence, or discrimination of any kind

4 Data & Privacy

The App stores only local data (scores, settings) on your device
Speech recognition uses the built-in services of the operating system
No data is sent to external servers
No cookies, tracking, or analytics are used

5 Intellectual property

All content of the App — including source code, design, images, and the word database — is the intellectual property of darthost.eu and is protected by:

European Union intellectual property laws

All words have been carefully selected to be child-appropriate
The app contains no offensive, violent, or inappropriate vocabulary
Content is regularly reviewed for compliance with PEGI 3 standards
No stereotypes, discrimination, or hate speech of any kind

7 Disclaimer

The App is provided "as is". While we make every effort to ensure accuracy and quality:

We do not guarantee it will meet specific educational needs
Use is at the responsibility of the user/parent/guardian
We are not liable for technical issues caused by the device or operating system

8 Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Hellenic Republic (Greece) and the European Union. The competent courts for any disputes are the courts of Athens, Greece.
